British Cactus and Succulent SocietySpalding Branch BCSS

-

The branch was inaugurated in the Autumn of 1974 by Joan Taylor who was the Vice-Chairman of the Society during that period. The branch still has a nucleus of active members who attended that inaugural meeting. Since the start the committee of the branch has met regularly once a month, this we feel keeps the branch on a sound footing and helps to update our activities on a regular basis. We have held a Branch show every year since 1975, this year being our thirtyfourth and has always been open to all Society members.

Spalding branch has been the proud host of four National shows. Like many branches we are always looking for ways to increase our membership and regularly put on displays at various events locally and with the advent of the Internet it is hoped that this will raise the profile of many branches.

Spalding branch holds regular meetings on the 3rd Friday of each month March to November inclusive at: Moulton Community Centre, Broad lane, Moulton, Spalding, Lincs PE12 6PN (For an interactive map click on the venue).
